LARCH HILLS OLD FOREST INVENTORY

A Committee of the LHNS was established in October 2009 to inventory sections of Old Forest adjacent to the Larch Hills Trails. The inventory information below was discussed at five meetings with about 50 Larch Hills winter and summer trails users in December 2010 and February and March 2011 and presented and endorsed at the March 8/11 LHNS for further consultation in 2011 between reps from LHNS, Shuswap Outdoors!, Summer Users and our neighbouring forest licensees. Please contact George Zorn (250-832-9335), a member of the Committee, if you have any questions or comments or wish to review a large format map showing the inventoried Larch Hills Old Forest trail sections inside and outside the Violet Creek Park and OGMA protected reserves and the forest licensee operating area boundaries.
