Geezers
The "Geezers" are a group of mostly
retired, but untiring, members of the LHNS who meet Wednesday mornings,
at 10:00 AM at the Larch Hills Nordic's Chalet for some camaraderie and
to explore the Larch Hills Trail System. Much of the skiing is on ungroomed trails, going farther as the season progresses.

Light touring skis are an asset for the deeper
snow. Tours vary from 1-2 hours up to 5 or 6 hours later in the season.
Snow conditions and group fitness determine the lengths of trips. All
new skiers are welcome, as are visitors to the Larch Hills.
The "Geezers" also meet in the snow-free
season to explore the many roads and trails around Salmon Arm on their
Mountain Bikes.
